为了进一步发挥安德学院国际教学资源反哺和辐射作用，安德学院联合理学院，本学期面向草堂校区2020级及以上年级学生开设三门实体通识拓展课程：《Math1》、《Physics 2》、《Statics》。课程采用双语授课，每门课程32学时，2.0个学分，均为自然科学类。由外教在线授课，中教线下配课。 

1. 课程介绍：

  《Math1》

Mathematics1 is a compulsory, foundational subject for all undergraduate students majoring in science and engineering. Students will learn Mathematic basic concepts, theory and computing skills. The purpose is to encourage basic mathematics thinking and to cultivate the application of mathematics knowledge to solving practical problems.

数学1是所有科学与工程专业本科生的必修基础课。 在本课程中，学生将学习数学的基本概念，理论和计算技能。目的启发和培养学生将数学思维、数学知识应用到解决实际问题中。

  《Physics 2》

Physics2 continues and expands on the foundational learning from Physics1. The focus of this course is on thermal forms and connections, vibrations, wave and wave optics as well as quantum physics leading to the development of modern physics and new achievements. Students can apply existing mathematics knowledge to quantitative calculation and qualitative analysis and physics problems. Students will be encouraged to approach problems from a physicist mindset when asking questions, establishing concepts, proposing hypotheses, and exploring theories. 

Physics2是对Physics1 基础学习的继续和扩展。本课程以热和热的传递、振动、波动和波动光学以及导致现代物理学发展和新成就的量子物理学作为知识重点。 学生可应用现有的数学知识进行定量计算、定性分析及解决物理问题。鼓励学生在提出问题、建立概念、提出假设和探索理论时从物理学的思路解决问题。

  《Statics》

The primary aim of this course is to help you gain knowledge and learn about how Engineering structures are designed and analysed. This course will provide a sound foundation for your upcoming Engineering education as well as professional career. The calculations introduced in this course will form the building blocks for professional Structural and Mechanical Engineers. 
静力学的主要目的是帮助您获得知识并了解如何设计和分析工程结构，为学生后续的工程教育和职业生涯奠定坚实的基础。本课程中介绍的计算将构成专业结构和机械工程师的基石。

2. 具体课程安排及选课方式： 

    学生登录2021版教务管理系统，在选课功能模块“安德学院新开实体通识拓展课”批次下进行网上选课，选课时间10月19日（第8周周二）16:00 - 10月22日12:00（第8周周五）。逾时不再处理相关课程退补选。

    3.  授课方式：学生选课后，请务必进入相应QQ课程群，安德学院将为其注册云平台账号，学生需要利用云平台完成作业等自主学习。
