为了进一步发挥安德学院国际教学资源反哺和辐射作用，安德学院联合理学院在2021-2022学年第二学期 （春夏学期），继续面向全校草堂校区2020、2019级学生开设两门实体通识拓展课程：《Maths 2》、《Dynamics》。课程采用双语授课，每门课程32学时，2.0个学分，属自然科学类。

    一、课程介绍

         Maths 2

      Mathematics2 is a compulsory, foundational subject for all undergraduate students majoring in science and engineering. The subject continues and expands the learning from Mathematics1 covering basic concepts, theory and computing skills. The purpose is to encourage basic mathematics thinking and to cultivate the application of mathematics knowledge to solving practical problems。

  数学2是所有科学与工程专业本科生的必修基础课。该主题继续并扩展了数学1的知识，涵盖了基本概念，理论和计算技能。目的是鼓励基本的数学思维，并培养数学知识在解决实际问题中的应用。

        Dynamics

        This subject explores how to apply Newtonian physics to analyse relatively simple physical mechanisms, with some emphasis on commonly encountered engineering applications. Dynamics builds on the foundational learning from the Statics subject, but with a focus on systems that are not in equilibrium i.e. with velocity and acceleration.

        Some of the topics covered are pure kinematics (a mathematical description of motion only), kinetic (determine motion in problems involving the concepts of force and energy) and two-dimensional (planar) mechanisms.

  本门课程主要探讨如何应用牛顿物理学来分析相对简单的物理过程，重点放在常见的工程应用上。 动力学建立在从静态学科学习的基础上，但侧重于不平衡的系统，即速度和加速度。

  课程内容包括运动学（仅对运动的数学描述）、动力学（在涉及力和能量概念的问题中确定运动）和二维（平面）机制。

        二、课程及选课安排

    网上选课时间：4月6日（第6周周三）16:00-4月11日（第7周周一）20:00登录教务管理系统，在“选课”模块下选课，选课结束后不再处理相关课程退补选。

    三、授课方式

    学生选课后，须进入相应QQ课程群，安德学院将为其注册云平台账号，学生需要利用云平台完成作业等自主学习。课程采用外教线上授课、中教线下配课的方式进行。
